Forty Carrots will now be offering this group via a ZOOM platform on Mondays from 11am-12pm and Wednesdays from 11am-12pm open to the first 12 families who register. Each group will have a special topic, opportunities to discuss snuggles and struggles, connect virtually with others, and finish with a Forty Carrots Circle Time for parents and children. Partners In Play® families, welcome to Carrot Talk, a virtual group to connect, inspire, and support Parents as they navigate the world of raising children. This informative group led by our Parenting Educators will explore topics that are relevant to you and your family during the journey of Parenthood! Weekly groups are offered on Tuesdays from 10am-11am and Thursdays 10am-11am open to the first 12 families who register. Each group will have a special topic, opportunities to discuss snuggle and struggles, connect virtually with others and finish with a Forty Carrots Circle Time for parents and children. Free Parenting Consultation
WITH A PARENTING EDUCATOR
Parent consultations are available during the COVID-19 crisis over the phone or through video conferencing with a Parenting Educator. Every family is unique and has their own personal struggles and snuggles. Each consultation provides dedicated time with a Parenting Educator so you can ask questions or address concerns you may not want to discuss in a public setting. Private consultations also provide an opportunity to obtain resources and solutions specific to your family’s needs. To request and appointment please contact us via PARENTING@FORTYCARROTS.COM.
- Mental Health programs and therapy sessions continue, using telephone and video-conferencing platforms.
- Established clients were contacted and offered video or telephone sessions to continue services.
- New clients will be offered the option of therapy and intake via phone or video.
- Individual Parenting Consultations are available to assist parents who suddenly have children home 24/7 and may be engaged in home schooling.
- Forty Carrots’ Therapist Erika Kohne was interviewed via Skype by Gulf Coast Community Foundation to discuss coping strategies, resources, and how to discuss the pandemic with children.
- Therapists have completed a 2 day course on effectively working with therapy clients via telehealth options.
- Our partnership with CenterPlace Health will continue with Diana conducting sessions and intake done remotely via telephone and video.
- Partners such as SPARCC, Selah Freedom, More Too Life, Harvest House, and CYESIS have all been notified that our services can continue remotely via telephone or video conferencing.
